Buying a property abroad is never easy, and from our first visit to Fuerteventura we fell in love with the island,the climate, and the people, so a property was next on our agenda.

When looking for our home in the sun, Corralejo was just the place. It was growing so fast we set our sights on a new build property.
Bill & Michele at Courtney Estates Direct discussed our criteria and showed us an apartment on Las Palmeras in the Parque Natural area of Corralejo which was still under construction, but with exceptional views, the surrounding gardens and swimming pools and the plans for a new shopping area.

18 months on we are not disappointed, it has lived up to our expectations and we found the whole experience stree free and enjoyable thanks to the help and assistance we had with everything. They also put us in touch with the right people to discuss the Legal & Financial side a very good bank and excellent solicitors.

Buying a home in your own country can be stressful enough but when faced with an unfamiliar legal system, customs and practises which you don't understand, you really need someone you can trust to guide.
In our case that someone was Bill Courtney. From the first day we met him he had been nothing but helpful to us. There was no hard sell. We told him what we were looking for and our price range. We were shown properties that he thought would suit us and he advised us on the pros and cons of each and then left us to decide.

From the first signing of the contract to completion, Bill organised everything for us, recommended a solicitor, and drove us to Notary etc. Bill also introduced us to his lovely wife Michele and she was also a great help to us.

They both couldn't do enough to help us out even to arrange times for our furniture to be delivered and Michele met the deliveries and also supervised the work on our kitchen.

Together they made the purchase of our lovely home in Fuerteventura a real pleasure and through this we have now become very good friends.
